Georgiev won $100,000 in head-to-head competition ahead of the NHL All-Star Game

Russian goalkeeper “Colorado” Alexander Georgiev won a hundred thousand dollars in a head-to-head competition before the NHL All-Star Game.

Before the NHL All-Star Game, skills competitions were held in Toronto. The winner of eight competitions was the Canadian striker from Edmonton Connor McDavid who won $1 million.

Georgiev made the most saves in all goalkeeping competitions. Hockey players were given the opportunity to independently choose a goalkeeper and try to score the goal as many times as possible per minute. McDavid chose Georgiev, the Russian managed to make 9 saves in 60 seconds.
