Russian goalkeeper Colorado Avalanche Ivan Prosvetov passed the waiver draft procedure, reports the press service of the NHL club.
On Saturday, we learned that the 24-year-old goalkeeper had been selected for the draft. Within 24 hours, no team took him, so the hockey player was sent to the farm club Avalanche of the American Hockey League (AHL) – the Colorado Eagles.
Prosvetov played 11 games for Colorado in the NHL regular season this season, on average the Russian gave up 3.16 goals per game and reflected 89.5% of shots. Before joining the Avalanche in the fall of 2023, the goalie played for the Arizona Coyotes.
