Yaroslavsky “Locomotive” beat Moscow in shootout “Dynamo” in a KHL regular season game.
The match in Moscow ended with a score of 4:3 (0:3, 2:0, 1:0, 0:0, 1:0). For the Blue and White, Cédric Paquette scored a hat-trick in less than six minutes in the first period. Martin Gernat, Daniil But and Stepan Nikulin, who also scored in the decisive penalty shootout, scored for Lokomotiv.
Lokomotiv scored 82 points and is in second place in the Western Conference standings, Dynamo (80) is third.
Alexey Kudashov’s team will host Yekaterinburg Avtomobilist in the next match on February 6, and the Yaroslavl team will play at home against Sibir Novosibirsk a day later.
