Head coach of the NHL club “Washington Capitals » Spencer Carbury said the Russian attacker Evgeny Kuznetsov is in a drug addiction program.
Earlier it became known that Kuznetsov was sent to undergo a program aimed at helping NHL players. Under this program, the league helps hockey players in the treatment of alcohol or drug addiction, as well as various psychological problems.
“The NHL and the NHL Players’ Association (said) he was in a drug program. They don’t share much with us other than the fact that he’s on the show. We just need to support him and his family and get him the help he needs,” Carbury said, as quoted by Russian Machine Never Breaks.
