Athletistic / Hockey. Calgary Flames forward Andrei Kuzmenko shared his emotions since his debut with the Canadian team. Last night, the 28-year-old Russian helped the Lights beat the Boston Bruins (4:1).
“Every match is a small step. Today was a difficult day for me, I was tired (Laughs). It’s like I spent 40 minutes on the ice, not 15. Today was a normal game in my performance. But it was normal, not good, because I didn’t have many moments. The team needs more goals from our line. I have good teammates, we feel good, we talk to each other every shift. I like everything. Sharangovich and Huberdeau are excellent hockey players, and the majority of us are good. We play in a similar style, which I like. We will see how we proceed next, but the first match turned out to be good, ”Kuzmenko was quoted as saying by the Calgary press service.
Andrey Kuzmenko scored a goal in the first game after the trade from the Vancouver Canucks. This season, the Russian scored 22 (9+13) points in the “goal+pass” system in 44 games in the NHL.
