Junior Russian team The U‑17 hockey team defeated the Belarus U‑20 junior national team in the final match of the Future Cup in Minsk.
The main time of the match ended with a score of 3:3. For the Russians, Daniil Prokhorov scored twice and Dmitry Isaev also scored. The Belarusians scored on precise shots from Alexander Ermolenko, Matvey Shidlovsky and Arseniy Kovgoreni. In the penalty shootout, the Russians were more accurate – 2:1.
The Future Cup took place in Minsk, at the Chizhovka Arena. The tournament also included the Kazakhstan youth team and the Russian U-18 national team.
