Hockey agent Alexey Dementyev believes that Calgary Flames a Russian attacker was needed Andrey Kuzmenko for a complete team.
Kuzmenko was traded to Calgary from Vancouver last week. The Russian played two games with the Flames and scored two goals.
— I would always attribute Andrey’s productivity with his partners and Calgary’s results to the wisdom of the managers involved in recruiting the team and, of course, the scouts making trade offers. That much-needed piece of the puzzle appeared in Kuzmenko, and we can only be happy about that. Will Andrey be able to help Calgary qualify for the playoffs with his performance? Theoretically, everything is possible, but only time will answer this question,” Dementyev said, as quoted by RT.
Kuzmenko scored 23 points (10 goals and 13 assists) in 45 regular season games this season.
