The Russian scorer scored another goal in the NHL game against the Boston Bruins. The match ended with a victory for Washington with a score of 3:0.

Ovechkin scored at the very end, when the opponent changed the goalkeeper to a field player. Ovechkin scored the puck into an empty net for the 57th time in his career. Gretzky has 56 empty-net goals.
