Athletistic/Hockey. Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin was named the first star of the day in the National Hockey League (NHL).

During the regular season game against Calgary, the Russian goaltender stopped 30 shots, obtaining his first shutout this season. Shesterkin’s team won with a score of 2:0.

The second star of the day was Philadelphia forward Travis Konecny, who scored a goal and provided two assists in a 5-3 victory over Arizona.

Minnesota forward Matt Boldy was named the NHL’s third star of the day. He scored the game-winner and provided two assists in the 5-3 win over Vegas.
