The Bashkortostan women’s team defeated the Moscow region team in the match of the group stage of the Spartakiad of the Strongest.
The match ended with a score of 3:1 (0:1, 1:0, 2:0).
Among the winners, Olga Sosina (40th minute), Polina Luchnikova (47) and Veronika Korzhakova (58) scored goals. Daria Medyutova scored for the Moscow region team.
After this victory, the Bashkortostan team secured first place in group A.
According to the tournament regulations, after the group stage, the eight teams from the two groups qualify for the playoffs.
Hockey competitions within the framework of the Winter Spartakiad of the Strongest will be held in Chelyabinsk, at the Traktor Arena named after VK Belousov, from February 12 to 18.
