The 30-year-old Russian has 90 points (34 goals + 56 assists) in 53 games. he leads the league’s top scorers this season.

Kucherov became the third NHL player in the 21st century to score his 90th point in a season in fewer than 55 games. Previously, such an achievement was counted as an asset Sydney Crosby (54 matches, 2006/07 season, Pittsburgh) and Connor McDavid (50, season 2020/21 and -2022/23, Edmonton).

Over the past 30 years, we also met during this period Mario Lemieux (34 matches in the 1995/96 season and 53 matches in the 1996/97 season), Jaromir Jagr (46, 1995/96) and Wayne Gretzky (51, 1993/94).
