Sports psychologist Vadim Gushchin believes that the Russian striker Washington Capitals Alexander Ovechkin overcame the crisis he faced during the current National Hockey League season (NHL ).
Ovechkin scored a goal on Tuesday in the match against Colorado (3:6), it became his 14th this season. The 38-year-old Russian scored in the sixth consecutive match, his longest goal streak since December 2018.
— Can we say that Ovechkin overcame some sort of crisis?
– This is a very high indicator – scoring six matches in a row. This is the NHL, the highest level of hockey currently. Everyone’s life, even a great athlete, is full of scratches. It doesn’t happen that there is success at all times. There was some sort of small crisis and, thank God, it’s over. We are only happy for Alexandre, he is our pride.
I think six matches is a long time, enough to draw conclusions. This does not happen by chance,” quotes Metaratings.ru.
