During the women’s hockey tournament within the framework of the Spartakiad of the Strongest, which takes place in Chelyabinsk, the final matches of the group stage took place.
On Wednesday, the team from the Krasnoyarsk Territory defeated the team from the Chelyabinsk region in overtime. The main part of the match ended with a score of 0:0. Victory in overtime was brought to the Krasnoyarsk territory by an accurate shot from Sofia Krivosheeva.
Thanks to this result, the Krasnoyarsk Territory team (three victories) overtook the St. Petersburg team (two victories and one defeat) in the standings of Group A, taking first place.
Based on the results of the group stage, the pairs of the quarterfinals were determined, which are as follows: Bashkortostan – Sverdlovsk region, Moscow region – Chelyabinsk region, St. Petersburg – Nizhny Novgorod region, Territory from Krasnoyarsk – Moscow.
The playoffs of the Spartakiad of the Strongest hockey tournament begin on February 16. The competition is organized by the Traktor Arena named after VK Belousov in Chelyabinsk.
