Athletistic/Hockey. IIHF President Luc Tardif spoke about Russia’s possible return to international competitions.
According to him, it all comes down to safety and the need to comply with IIHF sanctions.
“The first step is to follow the rules,” Tardif said in response to an inquiry from Match TV.
On February 15, hockey players from the Russian youth team wrote a letter to the IIHF. The players wanted to start thinking about the question of Russia’s return to international competitions.
The national teams of Russia and Belarus have been suspended from international hockey tournaments in February 2022.
