Hockey agent Dan Milstein says striker Ilya Mikheev has offers from clubs NHL with better financial conditions than “Vancouver” .
During the offseason, Mikheev left Toronto and signed a four-year, $19 million contract with the Canucks.
– There were somewhat higher offers, but for Ilya there was one priority – the team. When several teams came out on the flag, we discussed the amounts with those who remained. If there was a money priority, the options would be more attractive. But with the last teams on the list, we have agreed on the final terms,” Milstein said in a Zoom press conference.
Mikheev spent three years in 146 games in the regular NHL championships and scored 72 points (36 goals and 36 assists), in the playoffs the 27-year-old Russian scored two goals and twice assisted his partners in 19 games .
