Athletistic/Hockey. Forward “Vancouver” Ilya Mikheev commented on the situation with the goalkeeper of the Russian national team Ivan Fedotov.

On July 1, Fedotov was arrested on suspicion of escaping military service. Now the hockey player serves in Severodvinsk.

“It’s very unexpected when this happens. I don’t know the details of this situation, but I really hope that eventually everything works out for him and he can continue to play hockey and delight the fans,” Mikheev said.

Mikheev joined the Vancouver Canucks in the offseason, signing a four-year contract worth $19 million.
