Avangard forward Tomas Jurcho reacted to not being included in the Slovak national team due to his performances in the KHL.
– I don’t know, it’s not up to me. Of course I want to play for my country, but we have to see what decision will be made. Do I communicate with other Slovaks in the KHL? All the boys are ready to play for the national team, but there’s not much we can do about it. Let’s see how it ends, now we have to focus on the season in the league,” Yurcho said as quoted by “Championship”.
This season, Yurcho has scored 12 (5+7) in 17 matches for “Avant-garde” .
