Czech hockey player Jaromir Jagr organized a training session with Pittsburgh Penguins . This was reported on the club’s social networks.
The 52-year-old hockey player came to Pittsburgh to participate in his jersey raising ceremony at the Penguins arena. Jagr’s number 68 will be retired before the NHL regular season game against the Los Angeles Kings.
The club’s press service published a photo of Jagr from the locker room, as well as on the ice of the arena in the company of the team’s forward Sidney Crosby.
Jagr played for Pittsburgh from 1990 to 2001 and won the Stanley Cup twice with the club. The Czech ranks fourth in NHL history in games played (1,733) and goals scored (766), and fifth in assists (1,155). Only Canadian Wayne Gretzky (2,857) has scored more points in the league than Jagr (1,921).
