Athletistic/Hockey. The regular season match of the 2023/2024 Kontinental Hockey League championship ended in Cherepovets, where the local team Severstal hosted Neftekhimik. The match ended with a victory for the hosts in overtime with a score of 3:2.

Thanks to Neftekhimik’s defeat, Lada Tolyatti secured a playoff spot in his first season in the Kontinental Hockey League. Under the leadership of Oleg Bratash, they will participate in the Gagarin Cup for the first time in 15 years.

Lada scored 72 points and ranks seventh in the Eastern Conference standings.
