St. Petersburg SKA defender Andrei Pedan commented on the decision of the International Hockey Federation (IIHF) to extend Russia’s suspension from international competitions.
The IIHF last week extended the Russians’ suspension for the 2024/25 season due to the situation in Ukraine.
– It’s very bad, but that’s how it is. We cannot control this situation, so now we must focus on our hockey and the development of young players in Russia. If the league continues to develop, especially with arenas like those in St. Petersburg, then we can forget about all international competitions,” Metaratings.ru quotes Pedan.
