“This season has probably lacked experience, freshness. We wanted to go to the final, but we also gained good experience which will be useful to us. Did Colorado win deservedly? Of course. They very played well all season.
Our annual goal is to win. I believe we have a chance, the main thing is to believe in it,” Shesterkin said.
Last season, the Rangers reached the Conference Finals, but lost to Tampa, 2-4.
