Athletistic / Hockey. The authoritative North American sports publication ESPN conducted a survey of players and managers of NHL clubs and, based on its results, compiled the ten best wingers of the current season in the league. The winner of this poll was Russian Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov.
Players were awarded points based on their place in the ranking: the first number received 10 points, the second 9, and so on.
“Kucherov confidently climbed to the top of our ranking. In 2021, Nikita was third, last season – already second. Now the Tampa star is at the top of the hit parade. For his game this season, he deserves regular season MVP: “For 9 out of 10 hockey players we surveyed, he was in first place. And a forward from the Western Conference team put Kucherov in second place,” the ESPN material says.
The third place in the ranking was taken by Russian New York Rangers forward Artemy Panarin, and sixth place by Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov.
