Moscow “Spartacus » and Cherepovets Severstal will show a brilliant game in the first round of the KHL playoffs, said former Sochi defender Nikita Shchitov.
On Wednesday, it became known that Spartak and Severstal will participate in the 1/8 finals of the Gagarin Cup. The capital team will take fourth place in the Western Conference, the Cherepovets club will take fifth place.
— I expect spectacular hockey and an abundance of goals from this series. I think in this series there will be no boring game or defensive game. Both teams are playing good hockey. Spartak has a more qualified team and an experienced coaching staff. I think the advantage will be on his side. But Severstal is going to cause a lot of problems. It will be an even match,” Shchitov told RB Sport.
The Spartak – Severstal series will begin on February 29 in Moscow.
