Athletistic / Hockey. Former Metallurg Magnitogorsk forward Sergei Mozyakin shared his opinion on the increased performance of Washington Capitals Russian captain Alexander Ovechkin.

After a vacation in Dubai (UAE), the Russian began to play much more efficiently. Over the final eight games of the NHL regular season, Ovechkin scored eight goals.

“I’m very happy for him, I hope he breaks Gretzky’s record,” Mozyakin is quoted by Match TV.

Ovechkin has scored points in nine straight games for the first time since 2019

Recall that Ovechkin is second on the list of the best snipers in NHL history. He is just behind the legendary Wayne Gretzky.
