Columbus goaltender Tarasov spoke about his health after the NHL game against Anaheim, in which he was injured

Russian goalkeeper “Columbus » Daniel Tarasov said he was feeling good after the NHL regular season game against Anaheim, in which he was injured.

Columbus won an away victory against Anaheim with a score of 7:4. At the end of the second period, Tarasov was injured; his teammate Adam Boqvist hit him in the face with a stick. In the same episode, Anaheim scored the second goal, the goal was scored by Mason McTavish from a pass from Russian Pavel Mintyukov.

Tarasov, immediately after the episode, went to the locker room, covering his face with a towel. In the third period, the goalie returned to the ice, during the match the Russian made 27 saves after 29 shots.

– I feel good now. It was a pretty quick moment, the players were fighting in front of me. I don’t know who did it (caused the injury), but I was happy to be back on the ice. We deserved this victory, we came back into the match in the third period, we worked very well, we scored two important goals and we held the score until the end. I just tried to help my team as much as possible,” Tarasov said, as quoted by Bally Sports Columbus.

The victory over Anaheim did not help Columbus (46 points) leave last place in the Eastern Conference. Anaheim (42) occupies 14th place in the West.
