Athletistic / Hockey. Reputed insider David Pagnotta says Tampa Bay Lightning management is attempting to trade forward Vladimir Tarasenko from the Ottawa Senators. The 32-year-old Russian has been playing for the Canadian team since the start of this season.
Tarasenko signed a one-year contract with Ottawa in the summer of 2023. However, the Canadian club almost lost its chances of qualifying for the playoffs, and therefore wants to clear its salary sheet at the deadline. It was previously reported that Vladimir had attracted the attention of the Edmonton Oilers.
This season, Vladimir Tarasenko has 51 games and 37 (15+22) points using the goal+pass system. In total, in the NHL, the graduate of Novosibirsk “Sibir” played 726 matches and scored 611 performance points – he scored 285 goals and made 326 assists. Its overall usefulness score currently stands at +77. In 2019, Tarasenko won the Stanley Cup with the St. Louis Blues.
