Athletistic / Hockey. Two-time Olympic hockey champion Alexander Kozhevnikov says Dynamo Moscow is the main favorite for the upcoming 2024 Gagarin Cup.
“The main favorite now is Dynamo. In general, in all respects. If we take the Western Conference, then Dynamo is currently more favorite than SKA,” Kozhevnikov said, as quoted by VseProSport.
For the first time in a long time, Dynamo Moscow won the Continental Cup, awarded to the winner of the KHL regular season. In the first round of the KHL playoffs, Alexei Kudashov’s team will face Dynamo Minsk. The first two matches will take place in the Russian capital and the series is scheduled to begin on March 1.
Note that last season, Dynamo lost to Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in the first round of the KHL playoffs (2-4 in the series).
