Russian forward for the New York Rangers Artemy Panarin repeated the Canadian’s club feat Wayne Gretzky giving an assist in another NHL game.
In the match against Florida (2:4), the Russians made an effective pass and brought their total number in the current regular season to 50.
This is Panarin’s third consecutive season with at least 50 assists, making him only the third player in Rangers history to achieve this feat. Previously, Gretzky and Mark Messier had achieved this, both in the 1990s.
This season, Panarin played 62 games and scored 85 (35+50) points. His contract with “Rangers” calculated until the end of the 2025/26 season.
