Buffalo traded its top scorer to Colorado

Buffalo » traded the attacker Casey Mittelstadt V”Colorado “, reports the Sabres’ official website.

In exchange, the New York club received defenseman Bowen Byram, 22, selected fourth overall in the 2019 NHL draft.

Mittelstad, 25, is Buffalo’s leading scorer this season; in 62 regular games in the NHL, he scored 47 points (14 goals, 33 assists) with a record of +12. The Sabers selected him in the first round, eighth overall, in the 2017 draft.

Byram has eight goals and 12 assists in 55 matches this season.

Buffalo, with 62 points in 62 matches, occupies 13th place in the Eastern Conference standings. Colorado (81) is fourth in the West.
