Nichushkin’s overtime goal lifts Colorado to victory over Minnesota

Russian forward’s puck Valeria Nichushkina brought “Colorado “Victory over”Minnesota “in an NHL regular season game.

The match in Denver ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of Colorado in overtime. Nichushkin scored his 23rd goal of the season. It was the Russian’s first game after completing the NHL Player Assistance Program.

In January, the 28-year-old Russian was included in the NHL’s player assistance program. The NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program helps hockey players with mental problems and/or addictions (alcohol, drugs). In late February, Nichushkin was cleared to practice with Colorado.

Nichushkin was recognized as the first star of the match.

Russian forward from Minnesota Kirill Kaprizov in the second period, he recorded his 38th assist of the season.
