Athletistic/Hockey. Florida Panthers general manager Bill Zito has spoken of a deal with the Calgary Panthers that would see forward Matthew Tkachuk join the Panthers.

For the 24-year-old hockey player who excelled last season, Calgary received Florida leading scorer Huberdo, along with Mackenzie Wigar and Cole Schwindt. Additionally, the Flames now have a first-round pick in the 2025 draft.

“Matthew is a very tenacious and physically strong athlete with a unique set of qualities. He is an elite player who makes a great contribution in attack and it is no coincidence that he is one of brightest players in the league. We are very happy that he is part of our generation of talents,” said Zito.
