Athletistic / Hockey. Carolina Hurricanes head coach Rod Brindamore initially congratulated forward Evgeny Kuznetsov on his first home game with the Hurricanes. Last night, Carolina defeated the Calgary Flames (7:2) in an NHL regular season game.
In the locker room after the match, Brindamour handed Kuznetsov a plunger to the roar of approval from the entire team.
“I don’t really understand what it is,” the Hurricanes coach said, addressing the Russian hockey player.
On social media, Carolina fans speculated that such action was a reaction to one of Kuznetsov’s recent interviews, in which he said that Carolina’s coaching staff did not want he is a “plumber” and does a “dirty” job.
Evgeny Kuznetsov was traded to the Washington Capitals on March 8, where he played for 11 years. As part of the “capital” team, the Russian won the Stanley Cup in 2018.
