In 2023, the company also became a partner of the National Platform for the Virtue of Sports
In the fall of 2023, the iGaming company FAVBET became a partner of the Ukrainian Hockey Federation (UHF) and the general sponsor of the national team. The agreement, concluded during a very difficult period for Ukrainian hockey, allowed the team to continue high-quality training and show good results at the international level.
In particular, in February, the Ukrainian national team, unexpectedly for many, had a very successful pre-qualification for the 2026 Olympic Games in Poland, winning all three matches.
First, the wards of new coach Dmitry Khristich confidently beat South Korea with a score of 4:0, and then for the first time in the last 15 meetings they defeated the Polish national team in a tense match, which, after a shootout, ended with a score of 3:2 in favor of the Ukrainians.
In the final prequalification match, the team beat Estonia with a score of 5:3, securing a ticket to the main qualifying stage. Ukrainian hockey players will compete for the second chance in history to qualify for the Olympics in August-September 2024.
“The Ukrainian team is now demonstrating a very high level of play and an even greater desire to win. We sincerely believe in the Olympic prospects of our guys and will support them along this path. At the same time, FAVBET will continue to work together with the FHU to popularize and develop this spectacular sport in Ukraine”says Head of Sports Marketing FAVBET Denis Yakimov.
Today FAVBET is one of the largest sponsors of national sports. In addition to FHU, the company has a partnership agreement with the Ukrainian Basketball Federation, supports a number of football clubs, sponsors talented athletes, and also contributes to the development of children’s sports through a charitable foundation FAVBET Foundation.
In 2023, the company also partnered with the National Sports Virtue Platform to work together to combat match-fixing, share data on suspicious results, and provide education to the sports community.
