Athletistic / Hockey. Last night in Chicago (Illinois, USA) an NHL regular season match took place between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Anaheim Ducks. The meeting ended with a crushing victory of the hosts on ice with a score of 7:2.
In the 50th minute of the match, a massive fight broke out between the hockey players of both teams. Goaltenders also participated: Black Hawks goalie Petr Mrazek and Ducks goalie John Gibson. Following the collision, both goaltenders received a two-minute penalty for crossing the middle of the ice, as well as a ten-minute penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct. Note that Anaheim’s Russian defender Pavel Mentyukov also took part in the fight.
Anaheim is in 14th place in the Western Conference standings with 49 points after 65 matches. “Chicago” scored 41 points in 66 matches and is in 15th place in the West.
