Vancouver defenseman Zadorov scored a ‘Gordie Howe hat trick’ in NHL game against Colorado, Nichushkin and Mikheev scored a puck each

Russian defender Vancouver Canucks Nikita Zadorov scored a “Gordie Howe hat trick” during an NHL regular season home game with the Colorado Avalanche.

The match ended with Colorado winning in overtime with a score of 4:3 (0:2, 1:1, 2:0, 1:0). The winners were scored by Mikko Rantanen, Nathan MacKinnon, Ross Colton and Valery Nichushkin, who scored in overtime. Vancouver scored goals from JT Miller, Ilya Mikheev and Zadorov.

At the start of the second period, with the score 3:0 in favor of the Canucks, Zadorov fought with Avalanche defenseman Josh Manson. The Russian also provided an assist in the moment with the team’s second goal.
