Dnieper won a strong-willed victory over Kremenchuk in the shootout in the sixth match of the semi-final series Favbet league – 3:2.
The guests opened the scoring in the second minute of the match, and then scored again in the opening period. Dnepr pulled one goal back in the second 20 minutes. Then the Kherson team managed to equalize the score in the third period, sending the match into extra time.
In a long 20-minute overtime, the teams did not reveal the winner. In the shootout, Dnepr converted three out of four attempts, while Kremenchuk failed to hit Eduard Zakharchenko’s goal. Maxim Sidorenko scored the winning shootout.
The Kherson team equalized the score in the semifinal series – 3:3. The winner of the confrontation will be determined in the seventh match in Kremenchug on March 18.
