Two-time Gagarin Cup winner with Metallurg Magnitogorsk Sergei Mozyakin was appointed as the club’s director for youth development, said Sergey Laskov, vice-president of Magnitogorsk.
– Sergey took the post of director of the youth development club. The tasks are specified in the contractual part – improvement of work with young people, in a sports school for children, methods. The contract is signed for one year. Sergey wants to work, he has certain tasks. It will suit everything – we will continue to work further, – Laskov told RIA Novosti Sport.
Mozyakin spoke for “Metallurgist from 2011 to 2021, won the Gagarin Cup in 2014 and 2016. He previously played for CSKA and Atlant. Mozyakin, 41, is the leading scorer (842 points) and marksman (419 goals) in KHL history. As a member of the Russian national team, he became the 2018 Olympic champion.
