Russian attacker New York Rangers Artemy Panarin set a club record for the number of regular NHL championships with 90 or more points, the league press service reports.
The Rangers will face the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday. Panarin scored a goal and gave an assist in the first half, giving him 90 points (37 goals + 53 assists) this season.
For the fourth time as a member of the Rangers, the Russian scored 90 or more points during the regular season. According to this indicator, he is ahead of Mark Messier and Jean Ratel, who have exceeded the 90 point mark in three seasons.
