Omsk “Avant-garde” terminated the contract with the head coach Mikhail Kravets by agreement of the parties, reports the press service of the hockey club.
On Monday, Avangard lost to Lokomotiv at home in the second match of the quarterfinals of the Fonbet KHL Championship playoffs with a score of 0: 7. Yaroslavl leads the series with four victories – 2-0.
It is reported that after Kravets’ resignation, Sergei Zvyagin was appointed interim head coach.
“The team continues to prepare for the third match of the series with Lokomotiv as planned: after the recovery training, Avangard will travel to Yaroslavl,” the club’s statement said.
