Fonbet KHL Championship playoff match between SKA And “Motorist” began with a minute of silence in memory of former Salavat coach Yulaev Konstantin Koltsov.

The meeting takes place in St. Petersburg. The death of the Belarusian specialist was announced on Tuesday. He was 42 years old.

Over the past two seasons, Koltsov worked as an assistant to Viktor Kozlov at Salavat.

As a player, Koltsov played in 144 NHL games and recorded 12 goals and 26 assists.

In Russia he played for Severstal, Metallurg (Novokuznetsk), Ak Bars, Spartak, Salavat Yulaev and Atlant. As part of Salavat Yulaev, Koltsov won the Gagarin Cup in 2011.
