According to , ex-coach “Salavata Yulaeva” Konstantin Koltsov left the Ufa club after a heated conversation with the sports management, signing a resignation letter based on his results.
The death of the Belarusian specialist was announced on Tuesday. He was 42 years old. The Miami-Dade County Police Department’s homicide bureau announced it had opened an investigation into Koltsov’s suspected suicide.
At the last meeting after Salavat’s elimination in the first round of the Gagarin Cup, Koltsov spoke in a raised voice with the club’s sports management. Based on his results, the specialist wrote a resignation letter of his own free will. At the same time, Koltsov did not have direct conflict with anyone.
Salavat’s resignation was granted. The club was supposed to pay Koltsov, but did not have time to do so, since the organization currently has no money and there are significant delays in employees’ salaries.
