Three regular season games took place in the National Hockey League last night.
All three NHL matches of the final game day ended in victories for the favorites. Toronto defeated Washington on the road, thus preventing the Capitals from entering the playoff zone.
In turn, Dallas and Los Angeles defeated their rivals at home. The “Stars” left no chance for Arizona, and the “Kings” left no chance for Minnesota. The latter is still vying for a place in the Western Conference playoffs, and therefore the loss to California was doubly painful for them.
