“It is now impossible to say with certainty whether it is an accident or a suicide. The toxicological tests will be known within a month. While waiting for the end of the investigation, the police have contacted the Konstantin’s phone and laptop.
Personally, I think it was an accident. No signs of trouble. Konstantin rented a car in Miami for a long time, he received payments for purchases that had not yet arrived, and he also booked apartments in another place,” Mikhailova told Belarusian Hockey.
Konstantin Koltsov finished his hockey career in 2016. He worked as a coach at Dynamo Minsk, Dynamo Molodechino and Spartak Moscow. Since 2022, he has been assistant to Viktor Kozlov at Salavat Yulaev.
Previously, it was reported that Koltsov may have committed suicide due to a breakdown in his relationship with Belarusian tennis player Arina Sabalenka.
