The second star was named Rangers goaltender Jonathan Quick, who stopped 24 shots in the game against Boston. Quick tied Ryan Miller’s record of 391 wins for the most NHL games won by an American goaltender.
The third star of the day was Edmonton defenseman Mattias Ekholm, who scored 3 (2+1) points in the 8:3 victory over Buffalo.
