Adam Fox (1+1) and Mika Zibanejad (1+1) scored goals for Rangers, and Russian striker Artemi Panarin scored a hat-trick.

Panarin scored his third hat trick of the current NHL season. Previously, he scored three goals each against the San Jose Sharks (6:5) and the Tampa Bay Lightning (5:1). With this, Panarin became the second Rangers player in the last 10 years to score three hat tricks in a single NHL season.

Also in the 2020/2021 season, Swedish forward Zibanejad scored three hat tricks in an NHL regular season.
