Athletistic / Hockey Colorado Avalanche goaltender Pavel Francouz brought the Stanley Cup back to the Czech town of Pilsen, according to the official NHL website.

It is noteworthy that after a family breakfast with a trophy, the hockey player took him to the famous brewery.

“The brewery is an iconic place for the people of the city and it’s great that I can celebrate here. I grew up in Pilsen and beer is always associated with joy here. I haven’t had the opportunity to eat anything from the Cup, but I heard that some guys put goulash, dumplings or porridge in it… I’ll do it a little differently.

Winning the Cup is a dream and when it happens it is impossible to describe the feeling. The Cup is a huge piece of history and I am honored to hold it in my hands. It’s a bit like holding your own child,” the hockey player shared about his emotions.
