Director General of Minsk “Dynamo” Artem Karkotsky discussed the Belarusian club’s budget for next season.
The Minsk team, having scored 69 points in 68 matches, took eighth place in the Western Conference following the results of the KHL regular season. In the first round of the playoffs, the club lost to Dynamo Moscow in a series with a score of 2–4.
— For the moment, the budget remains within the same framework. In recent years, the club has acquired many new partners. The majority of the club’s budget has long been made up of support from non-governmental organizations. But everything we have is due to the tremendous support and attention the state gives us.
And for this, I want to once again personally express my deep gratitude to our president, because we all understand how much attention he pays to the development of not only hockey, but all sports in our country. And many companies, I emphasize – non-state, understanding this, are responding and providing assistance to us,” Karkotsky is quoted as saying by Championship.
