“If SKA presented an official statement criticizing the refereeing, I think that criticism of the refereeing is inappropriate from the teams. It is wrong from the point of view of sports ethics. Mistakes happen, if indeed they exist. But according to the regulations “Criticism of the arbitration is not allowed. The teams need to go out and just play,” Kamensky said in an interview with a “Championship” correspondent.
Recall that on March 25, SKA suffered a defeat on its own ice in the fifth match of the series against Avtomobilist with a score of 4: 5 and left the fight for the Gagarin Cup. For the first time since the 2014/2015 season, the St. Petersburg club failed to pass the second round of the playoffs.
This morning, SKA released an official statement in which SKA Board of Directors Chairman Alexander Medvedev spoke about refereeing in the playoffs.
