Athletistic / Hockey Former Metallurg Magnitogorsk and Russian national team hockey player Sergey Mozyakin will work in the club structure, reports TASS.

“Mozyakin will be the director of the youth development club. Before arriving here, he inquired about the coaching staff (youth teams), watching the games of the teams of all ages.

Naturally, he will be responsible for the training of young people and staff, on his recommendation we will decide who to send to the Steel Foxes. The initiative came from us, the person is rested, ready to work. He is in a very good mood,” said Metallurg Vice President Sergey Laskov.

Recall that when he was a player, Sergey Mozyakin played for Metallurg Magnitogorsk from 2011 to 2021, until the end of his career. Within the Steelworkers, he won the Gagarin Cup twice (2014, 2016).

In addition, the hockey player became the 2018 Olympic champion and two-time world champion in the Russian team (2018, 2019).
