Russian goalkeeper “Tampa” Andrei Vasilyevsky was recognized as the best player in the NHL regular season game against “Boston” (3:1).
The Russian reflected 23 out of 24 shots into his own goal, and at the end of the match he delivered an assist to Nikita Kucherov, who hit the empty net – for Vasilevsky this is the second assist in the season.
The second star of the game was Tampa forward Mitchell Chaffee, who opened the scoring, and the third was another Lightning scorer, Brayden Point. Boston’s only goal was scored by Danton Heinen.
Tampa with 87 points ranks 6th in the Eastern Conference, Boston (99) is second behind the Rangers, who previously ensured their participation in the playoffs.
